A man was detained after a shocking assault on a woman amid a property dispute in southern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Nanchang in Jiangxi Province on September 27.

A dispute turned violent during a conversation regarding the removal of barriers between an office building and a residential area.

A female property owner found herself the victim of a physical assault from a male employee of a certain company. After the incident, local authorities responded to the distress call, escorting both the assailant and the victim to the police station for further proceedings.

The Nanchang Public Security Bureau of the High-tech Development Zone issued a police bulletin on September 28, identifying the assailant as a male property owner of the office building within the same community. He received a lawful administrative detention of 10 days and a fine of 500 yuan (£56).

Additionally, other individuals involved in the incident received legal education to avoid future conflicts and to maintain communal peace and order.

经查，9月27日上午，该小区办公楼业主杨某 (男，43岁) 与住宅楼业主王某 (女，32岁) 、程某 (女，37岁) 等人因拆除小区间隔栅栏问题产生矛盾并引发冲突，杨某先后对王某、程某进行了殴打。经初步鉴定，王某、程某构成轻微伤。
根据《中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法》，杨某的行为构成殴打他人，南昌市公安局高新技术开发区分局依法对其作出行政拘留10日并处罚款500元的处罚，并对其他涉事人员进行法制教育。
