CCTV cameras captured two accidents at a junction on the same day.

Footage shows the first collision when two pickup trucks driving on opposite lanes nudged each other, with one of them spinning out of control and hitting a storefront in Udon Thani province, Thailand, on August 13.

Only 17 hours later, a motorcycle rider was clipped by a pickup truck and was thrown off his two-wheeler.

Both happened in the same area near a petrol station at the corner of an intersection. No one died but the drivers had wounds and bruises from the crash.

Thailand has one of the world's worst road safety records. Ministers have set the goal of reducing fatalities from 32.7 deaths per 100,000 people to 12 per 100,000 people by the year 2027.

However, a lack of road safety education in schools along with notoriously easy driving tests, police failures to enforce road laws, and chronic under-investment in infrastructure, all appear to hamper the efforts.
