A landlord was shocked to find her apartment overwhelmed with trash after the tenant vacated in eastern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Qingdao in Shandong Province on November 18.

A landlord was left aghast upon entering her vacated rental property after the tenant called to terminate her lease. The entire room was littered with garbage, making it nearly impossible to navigate the space.

According to Ms Han, the landlord's daughter, the situation was dire. The door to the room could barely be opened, and in some areas, the trash was piled up to a staggering height of one metre.

Han and her mother faced the daunting task of cleaning up the appalling mess, a process that took them three hours to complete.
