Junpen Promngam heard soft meows inside her apartment until she and her boyfriend pinpointed where the sound had been echoing from in Rayong province, Thailand, on July 30.
Upon being granted permission from the landlord, the tenants cut through a hole in the board wall to save the creature.
Footage shows Junpen's boyfriend using a cutter and screwdriver to pierce through the structure and extract the frightened ginger cat, which needed a glass of milk to calm down.
