Alleged drunk guests kick room service robot out of elevator in Chinese hotel
Alleged drunk guests kicked a room service robot out of an elevator in a hotel in northern China.
CCTV footage was filmed in Beijing on November 27, shows a robot, equipped with a meal approaching an elevator. As the doors open, the two men inside are seen forcefully kicking the robot out, preventing it from completing its programmed task.
Hotel staff, upon reviewing the footage, were quick to locate the culprits. The men, who confessed to being under the influence of alcohol at the time, expressed remorse for their actions.
They agreed to compensate for the damages, shelling out 4,500 yuan (£500) for the robot's repairs.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
