STORYLINE:

Pu Cunxin, a renowned Chinese actor from Beijing People's Art Theatre, brought his new book "Pu Cunxin: Me and My Character" to the Hong Kong audiences to share insights and details of his acting career.

"Our plays are very interesting. We always gain new ideas from every performance. Every year we discover new things, and it's similar to reading books. As you keep reading, you will realize that there's a lot of logic and relevance in books that you didn't find before. This is a general grasp of my drama preparation, that is, to be as authentic as a poem to reflect the plight of the world. I feel like we're reading a book while we're looking at the play on the stage."

Currently, the chairman of the China Theatre Association, Pu has won many awards for his superb acting skills.

He plays Li Bai, Hamlet, Bai Jiaxuan, and other characters of drama, and plays Lu Xun, Master Hong Yi, and other classic characters in the film and television works.
