In ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, soldiers from the Kfir Brigade engaged in targeted operations in the city of Khan Yunis. The operation revealed a significant cache of weaponry belonging to Nukhba operatives.

Among the discoveries were explosive materials, warheads for missiles and rockets, AK-47s, ammunition, grenades, and uniforms worn by Nukhba members. Particularly noteworthy was the unearthing of a stockpile of mortar shells, underscoring the scale of the threat being addressed by the IDF.

Tragically, during a confrontation within a structure linked to terrorist activities, the soldiers encountered hostile fire, resulting in the loss of IDF soldier Sergeant Roi Tal. The incident highlights the inherent dangers faced by the military in these operations.
