Russian artillery crews from the Central Military District (CMD) operating BM-21 'Grad' multiple rocket launchers successfully eliminated enemy personnel and a stronghold in the vicinity of Serebryansk Forest in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, on January 24.

Officials claimed that upon receiving intelligence about a detected gathering of nationalist forces, the artillery unit swiftly moved to the firing position.

Deploying the combat vehicle from travel to combat mode, the crews targeted the pre-scouted locations, delivering effective firepower to the enemy. Subsequently adjusting their artillery, the service members, using a second salvo, struck the rotation point of Ukrainian military personnel and the infrastructure of the enemy stronghold, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence.

They claimed that the target assessment was conducted with the assistance of an unmanned aerial vehicle transmitting real-time imagery to the frontline command post.

After completing the fire mission, the operational crew rapidly vacated the firing position, executing a high-speed manoeuvre to a secure location, they added.
