Pregnant driver crashes into roadside shop after vehicle collision sent her flying off road
A pregnant woman had a brush with death when she crashed her car into the wall of a workshop after a mid-road collision that led to her losing control of the vehicle.
Dramatic CCTV footage captured the incident in the city of Danzhou, in Hainan, China, shortly before noon on Thursday, April 25.
In the video, a blue Ford Fiesta can be seen veering off the road, reportedly after an off-camera collision.
The Ford was headed straight for a roadside workshop when the driver, an unnamed pregnant woman, made a sharp left turn to avoid running over the worker and crashed into a wall.
Moments later, the woman exited the car in obvious distress and held her belly while dialling on her phone, seemingly trying to reach emergency services.
Several other men rushed outside to check on her, with one of them speaking to her as he pointed towards the street where the reported traffic accident happened.
No serious injuries have been reported in the incident.
