STORYLINE:
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, and China will host the 10th ministerial meeting of that forum on May 30 in Beijing.
In a recent interview with Xinhua, Arab League chief Ahmed Aboul-Gheit highlighted the pivotal role of the forum, saying it reflects a strong desire to build a robust relationship between the two sides.

"The China-Arab States Cooperation Forum reflects a strong desire to build a robust relationship between the two sides.

Relations between China and Arab countries are constantly growing. China is willing to further build these relations, and Arab countries need to open up more to China."
Aboul-Gheit also underlined the great potential of mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Arab countries in various sectors.
