A police officer saved a girl who fell between a train and the platform at a railway station in southern China.

The video was filmed in Chengdu City in Sichuan Province on June 6.

A 3-year-old girl slipped and fell into the gap between a train and the platform. A brave officer Chen Quenjiang from the Chengdu Railway Police Department immediately rushed to the scene and rescued the child.

Chen was on duty, patrolling train Z587, which had just arrived at Chengdu West Station. As he made his usual rounds on the platform, at 6:48 pm, a little girl suddenly dashed out from the crowd and jumped up to wave at passengers through the train window. Distracted, she did not notice the gap and fell through.

Chen, who was nearby, saw the girl fall and sprinted to her rescue. "I was very worried and kept shouting, 'Baby, are you okay?' while telling her to raise her hands," he recounted. Seeing that she was unharmed, he swiftly pulled her up.

The entire rescue took less than 20 seconds, and the girl was safely brought back onto the platform. The three-year-old was examined on site and found to have no injuries.

“当时就很担心，一边喊着‘宝宝，你没事儿吧’，一边让她把手伸起来。”陈泉江说，他看女孩没啥问题，就顺势将孩子拉了上来。
整个施救过程不超过20秒，女孩被成功救上站台。据介绍，女孩3岁，经过现场初步检查，身体并无大碍。
