An angry bull interrupted a family meal by charging the table where they were sitting and sending chairs flying.

Five people and a dog were in the courtyard of the property when the bull appeared at the house in Xishuangbanna, an autonomous prefecture for Dai people in the extreme south of Yunnan Province in China, on June 8.

At first, it looked as if the bull might pass them by, but then apparently chasing the dog the cow suddenly rushed over and into the courtyard, where the five people at the table ran to save themselves from being attacked and killed.

After scattering chairs and chasing the family members, the bull looked as if it was going to leave but then returned and started chasing them again.

One of the family members who said he was enjoying some time with his-laws when the bull burst in said none of them had any idea who the owner was.

He said they had called the police, by which time the bull had run off, and added that after that, they closed the gate to make sure they were not attacked again.
