This is the terrifying moment an escaped bull rampaged through homes in rural Thailand.

CCTV footage shows a panicked pet dog barking as the beast changed towards him in Yasothon, Thailand, on December 22.

A farmer came chasing after the bovine trying to drag it back with a rope. But the bull turned on its heels and ran towards them with its head lowered.

The animal continued its assault through the farmhouse yard and patio before eventually being subdued.

Local media reported that the family was having dinner in the front yard of their home but quickly ran inside with their canines after seeing the bull and hearing warnings from its handler.

The livestock owner reportedly took about 20 minutes to calm and recapture the farm animal, which had escaped from a nearby market.

No injuries were reported.

Cattle and buffalo are common sight in the northeast region of Thailand, often raised for farming and trade.
