An elderly man riding a three-wheeler was rear-ended by a car, causing him to fall into the three-wheeler’s cargo and lose control.

Two traffic police officers responded swiftly, successfully stopping the runaway tricycle and rescuing the fallen man.

CCTV footage filmed in Jiangyin City in Jiangsu Province on July 9, shows a car suddenly rear-ending a three-wheeler on a road, causing the elderly rider to lose balance and fall into the three-wheeler’s cargo area.

The tricycle then began to move uncontrollably down the road.

Two patrolling traffic officers noticed the danger. Recognising the seriousness of the situation, they immediately rushed forward to rescue the man. Bravely, they managed to stop the runaway tricycle by the roadside.

Fortunately, the elderly man was not seriously injured, and the incident is currently under further investigation.

就在这千钧一发之际，正在附近巡逻的两名交警发现了这一险情。他们立即意识到事态的严重性，迅速飞奔上前准备实施救援。面对失控的三轮车，交警们勇敢出手，成功地将三轮车拦停在路边。

所幸老人并无大碍，目前该事故还在进一步调查处理中。
