USA: Spokane Valley Deputy Bravely Rescues Fire Victims from Engulfed Mobile Home

Early this morning, Spokane Valley Deputy T. Ball demonstrated exceptional bravery and quick thinking when he responded to a blaze engulfing a mobile home near N. Bowman Road and E. Cataldo Avenue. The incident unfolded shortly before 3:40 a.m. as Deputy Ball noticed smoke while driving east on Broadway Avenue near I-90.
Upon locating the source in the 900 block of N. Bowman Road, Deputy Ball discovered flames consuming the porch and side of the residence. Without hesitation, he entered the smoke-filled home, where he found two adults unaware of the impending danger. With the fire rapidly spreading, Deputy Ball guided the occupants to safety, ensuring they escaped unharmed.
Additional deputies arriving at the scene assisted in evacuating neighboring homes as fire crews from the Spokane Valley Fire Department arrived promptly to extinguish the inferno. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, though the fire completely destroyed the mobile home and caused damage to a neighboring property.
