In a recent rescue operation, four individuals of Nepalese origin were successfully rescued by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team in northern India's Uttarakhand.

The incident took place in Kedarnath of Rudraprayag district on August 4.

Visuals showed how the stranded individuals were rescued using ropes and harness equipment with a lot of difficulty by the SDRF members keeping their lives at risk.

Speaking to Newslions Media, SDRF Media Coordinator, Miss Lalita Negi mentioned the group was stranded on the Kedarnath-Tosi-Trijuginarayan route. The SDRF team handed over the rescued individuals, who are all in good health, to the district police.

Shri Manikant Mishra, the commander of the SDRF, commended the team's efforts in this successful rescue mission. Additionally, he instructed the use of drones for search operations between Lincholi and Bhimbali to ensure the safety of others in the area.
