Perfect rainbow forms over corn fields in New York
This is the captivating moment a perfect rainbow arches over cornfields in New York.
Footage captured by resident Joseph Frascati shows the vibrant colors of the rainbow stretching across the sky and seemingly touching the ground in Rt 5 Caledonia on August 12.
Frascati said that he found the spot where the rainbow appears to touch the Earth, highlighting a unique perspective of the phenomenon.
Rainbows are formed when sunlight interacts with water droplets in the atmosphere. This combination of refraction, reflection, and dispersion creates the colourful arc of a rainbow.
