United States: Lancaster Semi vs Vehicle Fatal Collision

08/16/2024 09:41 pm (GMT-0700) | LANCASTER, Calif. – The Los Angeles County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol officers responded to the intersection of Longview Road and East Avenue J, near 140th Street E., for a reported traffic collision involving a semi truck and a car.
Upon arrival, fire department paramedics located the collision and updated the call to state that the semi had rolled over and landed on top of the car with at least one person trapped inside.
Upon further investigation, the occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation, and the victim has not yet been identified.
