This is the moment armed robbers raided a jewellery store, leaving five individuals injured in India.

At least five armed suspects looted gold accessories and assaulted the owner and staff at Kamlesh Jewelers in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, on August 23.

CCTV footage shows the thieves attacking employees with wooden sticks and threatening jeweller Jai Singh, his brother Madhusudan, and Jai Singh's son Vaibhav with guns.

When the owners and staff resisted, a brief fight broke out, with security personnel Ajan Singh and Ramnaresh also joining in.

Moments later, the criminals resorted to gunfire, causing Madhusudan and Jai Singh sustaining gunshot wounds. They are now in critical condition.

After pilfering the store, the bandits fled the scene.

Bhiwadi Superintendent of Police Jyestha Maitreyi said: 'Five masked men arrived in a white car at the jewellers' showroom in the Central Market, where they mugged workers while stealing the valuable items.'
