Five armed robbers raid jewellery store in India

This is the shocking moment five armed robbers stormed a jewellery store in India on Wednesday, August 28.

Footage shows the jewellery trader, Bharat Soni, his son Atul, and two customers reportedly taken hostage as the robbers made off with jewellery worth crores stored in the safe and on the counters in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Police quickly arrived at the scene after receiving reports and initiated an investigation.

CCTV footage shows the suspects wearing helmets while others used clothes to conceal their identities.

Atul is shown sitting in front of the robbers with his hands folded as they looted the store before fleeing.

No injuries were reported despite the presence of firearms.

Officials said the case has been registered, and six squads have been deployed to track the suspects. Investigators are currently reviewing the video to identify those involved in the heist.
