Villagers evacuated after entire side of mountain collapses into valley
This is the incredible moment tonnes of rock and debris tumbled down a mountainside into the valley, creating a massive cloud of dust.
The video was shot near Shahuzhai Village in China's Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture on August 31.
The Wadi Town Government, responsible for the local area, confirmed that despite the large amount of rock that was dislocated, there had been no casualties. However, as a precaution, villagers have been temporarily relocated while experts examine the scene for the risk of further rockslides.
The Maoxian Natural Resources Bureau reported that around 2,000 square metres of rock and debris were involved in the collapse.
