Traffic in West Palm Beach was brought to a standstill as masses of emergency services rushed to scene of an assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

Footage captured by @dannyspitin filmed on September 16 shows a road being blocked by authorities.

The suspect has been named as Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, who was arrested 38 miles away from the scene.

Danny described how, from his vantage point using binoculars, he observed agents aiming rifles at the suspect. At first, it appeared to be a routine accident, but the presence of Secret Service Escalades quickly pointed to something far more serious.
As the situation unfolded, police safely escorted drivers out of the chaotic scene. Danny expressed gratitude for the swift actions of the police and multiple agencies, confirming that the suspect is now in custody.
