Dog's dinner! Street food stall selling rice and curry for pets opens in Thailand
A street food stall sells delicious servings of rice and curry - for pet cats and dogs.
Anyamanee Lakkhasorn, 37, opened the stand two weeks ago to cater to devoted owners looking to treat their furry friends in Phitsanulok, Thailand.
She had been serving up hearty treats for the animals, with locals visiting to take pictures of themselves pampering their pets.
Footage shows the owner assembling an order of chicken meat and vegetables on September 12.
The former bank teller said she paid attention to nutrition and did not use seasoning for the dishes, using only fresh ingredients.
Anyamanee said: 'I have an 11-year-old Thai Bangkaew dog. I paid close attention to what he ate.
'I believe healthy pets start with their diet, so I aim to provide dog food for owners with no time to prepare meals themselves.'
The animal lover added she had the idea for a unique street-side dog food stall as she usually travelled and the sitter would feed her pooch with fried chicken.
She said: ‘That contained seasoning and might pose risks such as kidney disease or obesity.'
The canine menu at the Khao Kaeng Nong Mha shop includes stir-fried, roasted, and boiled dishes rich in fibre and without seasoning, served curry style, and available to go.
She said: ‘I use chicken liver, heart, meat, and breast. I also have mackerel fish for cats.'
To make the stock, Anyamanee wakes up early in the morning to boil vegetables, including radishes for sweetness.
For cats, she mixes mackerel with rice, removing bones. Each box costs 35 baht (0.80 GBP).
She tops the meals with carrots and pumpkin for extra fibre.
While she has a physical store on the roadside, she also accepts delivery orders within her district.
