Father teaches toddler how to pick herself back up from a fall
A father kept calm and taught his daughter how to stand up on her own after a bad fall.
Footage shows the parent Ian Vasquez walking in the garden with his one-year-old child Noa who pulled away from him to run in Davao del Sur, the Philippines on September 8.
But before the youngster could reach him, Noa tripped and tumbled to the ground.
Instead of panicking if the toddler was hurt, Ian gently told her to pick herself up independently.
Noa hesitated momentarily, waiting for help, but was back on her feet in less than a minute.
Proud mum Nie said: ‘We try to foster resilience in our daughter as early as possible.'
