A family of three was removed from a submerged car in Crimea.

Rescue teams from Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations recovered the grey sedan from a 13ft (4m) reservoir, with two deceased passengers and a dog inside the vehicle in Kolchugino on December 4.

Footage shows divers attaching a rope to pull the car out of the water. The operation reportedly involved 15 specialists and five units of equipment.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the horrifying incident.
