Climber captures challenging ascent of mountain in China
A climber captured a challenging ascent of a mountain in China.
Adventurous holidaymakers clambered up Tiandu Peak on Huangshan Mountain in Anhui, China, on June 12.
Nerve-wracking footage shows the man and his friends climbing on all fours, using their hands and feet to navigate the narrow and steep steps, which appear almost vertical and resemble a straight line dropping from the top.
After a rigorous and daunting climb, the vacationer reached the summit, taking in the breathtaking panoramic views.
Tiandu Peak is known as one of the most formidable sections of Huangshan, with an average slope of 70 degrees, and in some places, it approaches near vertical. The narrowest part, known as the 'Crucian Carp's Back,' is just one metre wide, adding to the thrill and danger of the climb.
