Beautiful Christmas Tree 7 Meters High From Used Drink Bottles
A number of young Catholics made beautiful Christmas trees 7 meters high from used drink bottles from the congregation of the St Theresa Cathedral church in Padang, Saturday (21 December).
"We collected two thousand used drink bottles from the congregation to make a 7 meter high Christmas tree to decorate the church for Christmas and New Year 2024-2025," said the head of Catholic youth, Evelyn.
Apart from being a decoration for the Cathedral of Santa Thresia, the Christmas tree which was made for 10 days is also a form of action for Catholic children to invite people care about plastic waste.
"This is also our action from Catholics to invite people to care about the environment from plastic waste, because plastic waste can be processed into good works," said Evelyn.
