Monkey steals power bank and phone from tourist
This is the shocking moment a monkey stole a power bank and a phone from a tourist.
The mischievous Tibetan monkey snatched the devices from a woman at Mount Emei in Sichuan, China, on December 17.
Footage shows the primate perched on a concrete guard rail, inspecting the power bank with the mobile phone still attached to its cord.
Local media reported that the animal eventually dropped the devices upon realising they were not food.
The filmer said: 'I was so hopeless and annoyed that it took my things, but thankfully, I retrieved them.'
Monkeys, like other animals, may attack when they feel threatened. Risks from monkey bites include serious wound infections, the herpes B virus, and rabies.
