Monkey climbs across phone lines like an army assault course
A wild monkey was seen balancing along a set of phone lines like he was on an army assault course.
Footage shows the agile macaque navigating the wires in the vast woodland of Nakhon Ratchasima, northeast Thailand.
The primate used its front limbs to grab the cable overhead while its hind legs teetered along the thin, lower line.
The animal crossed to the other side of the road within seconds on June 1.
Shortly after, a soldier's radio was heard crackling in the background, adding to the military training effect.
Thai officer Mon said: ‘The wires were no match for the macaque. It moved so fast.'
