SOUNDBITE (English): NAGHMANA ALAMGIR HASHMI, Former Pakistani Ambassador to China
"If you look at the world today, there are two major powers, the two top economies, U.S. and China. When there are cooperative relationships between them, when there's a dialogue between them, things become more positive. But when there is this fear that small issues may lead from competition to confrontation, then unfortunately, if these two giants have confrontation, then everybody else will suffer. Economically, politically, strategically speaking, the world will suffer. It is extremely important that there are all levels of dialogue, all levels of talks between the two countries."
