Storyline: Hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians in Gaza have begun packing their belongings and preparing to return home following reported progress in ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel. Hamas said on Tuesday that the ongoing ceasefire and prisoner exchange talks in Qatar's Doha have entered their "final stages". In a press statement, Hamas noted it had updated other Palestinian factions on the progress in the ceasefire talks. The factions expressed satisfaction with the developments and stressed the need for national readiness for the next stage. Earlier in the day, Qatar's Foreign Ministry confirmed that the ceasefire discussions have reached an advanced stage, with efforts continuing to finalize the agreement. They also stressed that the ceasefire will be implemented "immediately" once an agreement is reached. After months of living in shelters and tents, many Gazans are now beginning to hope they will return to their homes that they were previously forced to evacuate by the Israeli military, anticipating that a ceasefire will finally bring them safety. However, some found it hard to be fully optimistic as Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip continue to create more victims. Currently, both civilian and NGO groups are closely monitoring ceasefire negotiations and preparing for any potential deal. The International Committee of the Red Cross has sent officials to visit hospitals and centers for the displaced to closely monitor the situation. The displaced Palestinians are preparing for a long-awaited return to the northern Gaza Strip after more than a year of suffering. They hope for a new chapter free from the bombs that have relentlessly pursued them across the enclave. Shotlist: Gaza Strip - Recent: 1. Various of refugee camp, tents for displaced Palestinians; 2.
