Passengers were evacuated when a plane caught fire moments before departure in South Korea tonight.

The Airbus A320 operated by Air Busan was preparing for take-off for the flight to Hong Kong when flames ripped through the tail at around 10:30 pm.

CCTV shows the blaze engulfing the aircraft as the airport fire crews scrambled to contain the inferno.

All 170 passengers and crew evacuated, and there were no casualties, according to authorities.

Fire authorities are currently working to fully extinguish the fire at the Gimhae International Airport in Busan.
