A jilted wife crashed her motorcycle while trying to chase her allegedly cheating husband and his mistress.

The woman followed her partner and caught him with his lover, but they tried to escape in Chonburi, Thailand, on January 23.

CCTV footage shows the wife on a high-speed pursuit with her husband, but the front of her vehicle clipped the rear of the motorbike trying to chase them.

She wiggled and was knocked over, before she tumbled off the two-wheeler. The woman was in pain but tried to stand up and fell again.

Concerned locals who saw her rushed to help when she fell and grabbed her husband's shoe that fell during the chase.

Koungpop Nakar, 23, who was one of the first residents to assist her, said: 'I was sitting outside my house when I saw the motorcycle chase. It was so fast. She crashed right in front of my home.'

He added the second motorbike briefly stopped when she crashed but left afterwards.

Koungpop added: 'He stopped for less than a minute. He was with another woman riding pillion.

'We asked her what happened, and she told us she was chasing her husband, who was with his mistress.'

The wife called her husband's parents who arrived alter at the scene and took her to the hospital.

Koungpop added: 'I do not know them but she asked me to keep the shoes. She has not contacted me since.'
