A bus plunged into a 200ft ravine, killing seven passengers in India.

The luxury vehicle was involved in a devastating accident on the Nashik-Gujarat Highway in Maharashtra on February 3 at 5:30 am.

Local media reported that 15 of those onboard were seriously injured in the crash and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Footage shows a yellow tow truck dragging the severely damaged blue bus. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, and rescue operations are ongoing.
