This is the shocking moment a toddler almost drowned when he fell into a luxury baby wash tub.

The little boy, leaning on the huge basin, accidentally slid himself inside the water-filled transparent tub in Anhui, China, on February 2.

CCTV footage shows his mother and a customer conversing with their backs turned to the boy while he plays with the water.

Moments later, the kid slipped on the platform he was stepping on and plummeted headfirst into the wash pool, submerging half of his body.

When the client turned around, she saw the child struggling to get up, attempting to push himself out with his hands, prompting her and the mum to rush toward him.

The customer immediately lifted the boy out of the water and checked if he was okay.

Local media reported that he did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
