Rescue teams saved stranded motorists trapped in floodwaters in West Virginia.

Footage shows volunteers responding to the scene with trucks and boats, which they used to evacuate drivers and passengers in Kanawha County on February 6.

The teams were from the West Virginia National Guard All Hazards Response Team and the Clendenin Volunteer Fire Department.

Dozens of volunteers, a total of 14, joined the rescue efforts to evacuate the motorists.

Powerful thunderstorms moved across West Virginia last week, causing widespread flooding and triggering rockslides in the region.
