This is the heartwarming moment villagers carried a home to a new plot in China.

Kindhearted locals united by helping their neighbour move the massive wooden house 150 ft (46m) away to its new location in Guizhou on February 9.

Footage shows dozens of men bracing themselves on long poles on the base of the two-story building.

They then lifted the whole structure in sync off the ground and inched forward step by step toward its new place.

Local media reported that another property on the prime site will be built after the removal of the previous house.

One of the neighbours who helped the homeowner said: 'We are not just living close to one another here, but we are a community. We help each other whenever we can.'
