On 27 February, in Zhumadian, Henan, a fridge outside a fruit shop suddenly toppled over after being hit, crushing a young boy who was trying to hold it up. Fortunately, nearby passers-by reacted quickly, rushing over to lift the fridge and rescue him. In the end, the child was unharmed.

According to the shop owner, Ms. Pan, the fridge had been unsteadily positioned and fell over after being bumped. The boy, who happened to be her son, instinctively tried to steady it. In a heartwarming moment, numerous strangers rushed over within seconds to help lift the fridge and free him. After a medical check-up, it was confirmed that the boy only suffered minor bruising on his leg and was otherwise fine.
