Mother rushes over to rescue son stuck in automatic gate
A curious young boy became trapped between a wall and a sliding gate, prompting his mother to rush to his rescue.
CCTV footage shows the woman entering a Volvo sub-SUV parked in their garage as her son stepped out of the house and climbed onto the moving automatic gate in Bangkok, Thailand.
The youngster can be seen holding onto the metal bar of the gate, and as it continued to slide, he became wedged on October 30.
Startled and frightened, the boy cried out, causing his mum to approach him quickly. She called their housemaid to fetch the gate key while trying to pull the gate manually to free her son.
After a brief struggle, the gate shifted enough for her to pull him out safely.
The child was not harmed and later said he had cried only because he was scared, promising never to play on the gate again.
