Massive avalanche strikes several parts of northern India
In a tragic incident, an avalanche hit the northern part of India.
The incident took place in Garh village 6 kilometers from Sub Divisional Headquarters Padder in Kishtwar district in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on March 1.
Visuals showed chaos and peril as an avalanche of snow cascaded down from the towering mountains. Traffic has come to a halt because of the avalanche.
According to reports, although the massive avalanche occurred near an inhabited area luckily there was no loss of life or injury to anyone.
This is the fourth snow avalanche in the last three days in Kishtwar district.
