Brave rescuer frees swan trapped on icy lake in China
This is the heartwarming moment a brave rescuer freed a swan trapped on an icy lake in China.
The heroic local saved the stranded bird in Yingkou, Liaoning, on December 9.
Footage shows the man pushing a small violet boat across the frozen lake to reach the distressed creature.
Upon reaching the swan, he gently lifted it with his bare hands and carefully freed it from the ice.
The rescuer said: 'I saw it struggling to break free, so I didn't hesitate to help. Fortunately, it wasn't injured, and we released it into a nearby lake that wasn't frozen.'
