A police car chase ended dramatically when the suspect crashed into a house in Michigan.

Warren authorities responded to a reported burglary at a marijuana distribution facility in the area of Dequindre and 14 Mile roads around 1:55 am on March 22.

The business owner told police that a large amount of marijuana had been stolen.

Officers later identified the vehicle allegedly used in the break-in and attempted to pull the suspect over. The accused then fled, and the chase continued in Detroit.

Footage shows authorities pursuing the high-speed offender. The ordeal ended when the alleged thief crashed into an unoccupied home near Ewald Circle and Schoolcraft on Detroit's west side.

Police say they took the suspect, Dijon Tyree, into custody without incident and found a large amount of the stolen marijuana in the car.

Lieutenant John Gajewski with the Warren Police Department said: 'Our officers were safe, they were tactical, they were proactive, and they worked together to safely take somebody who has been victimizing the community, both Warren and surrounding community, into custody.'

Tyree is now facing seven felony charges.
