A vile Russian vlogger was jailed for allegedly harassing locals for content in the Philippines.

Streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, 33, was arrested over his immature videos that showed him insulting and threatening security guards and passers-by in the capital Manila.

Immigration authorities said Monday, April 7, that the draft-dodging Ruski, who has been tagged an 'undesirable', will remain in the Philippines to face criminal charges before he is deported.

Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said: 'He will remain there for now in the Bureau of Immigration detention facility in Muntinlupa while he awaits his trial here. We will not deport him. He will be held accountable under the law here in the Philippines.

'We're done with foreigners who only insult Filipinos. This is an example that we are serious about not letting them disrespect us in our own country.'

During the press conference, the 'remorseless' Kick streamer was seen flashing a smug grin at the media. He also played with a security escort's cap and held up a black notebook.

Officials then presented video evidence of the obnoxious Russian's brazen antics. He was seen silently applauding before claiming the videos were 'fake media, fake news'.

Metro Manila police said Vitaly is facing complaints for unjust vexation, alarm and scandal, theft, and attempted theft.

He will be held in the country's notoriously overcrowded jails during the legal proceedings. He did not say why he was in the Philippines instead of joining the war effort in his homeland, though hundreds of thousands of Russians have dodged the draft by fleeing to Asia.

Vitaly gained online fame for his outrageous and often offensive pranks which he posts as content on his social media. He first caught public attention for a 'zombie attack prank' scaring random passers-by in Miami neighbourhoods. He had also been arrested for streaking at a 2016 NBA finals game in which he ran across the court with the words 'Trump Sucks' emblazoned on his bare torso.

Despite the numerous controversies surrounding him, he has managed to amass millions of viewers on his YouTube channel.
