US, Los Angeles: El Monte Officer Involved Shooting Under Investigation
Los Angeles, United States - April 14, 2025 04/14/2025 11:50 pm (GMT-0700) EL MONTE, Calif. – The El Monte Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the parking lot of a Chase Bank on Valley Boulevard. One individual was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The circumstances that led to the shooting are unclear, and it is unknown whether the suspect was armed at the time of the incident. Additionally, a vehicle crashed into a wall in the parking lot near a police car, though it is unclear if that incident is related to the shooting. Law enforcement has closed multiple streets in the area as part of the investigation. The investigation is ongoing. There are no further details at this time.
