A school and multiple homes were damaged by a sudden tornado in Indiana.

The twister touched down near the Princeton Community High School and ripped through eight city blocks in three minutes, on April 10.

Footage shows the carnage wrought by the twister, which hit peak wind speeds of 105 miles per hour.

Authorities said no injuries were reported.

The tornado was part of a broader pattern of severe weather affecting the region. Many of the same areas had recently experienced major tornadoes and flooding.

Indiana Governor Mike Braun declared a state of disaster emergency on Friday, April 11. He said: 'It is my hope that this step enables residents, businesses, and local government to access needed resources and assistance as they assess and recover from these devastating weather events.'
