On April 6, in Chongzuo, Guangxi, a man captured stunning footage of the alpha monkey (monkey king) leaping down steep cliffs to rejoin its troop in the White-Headed Langur Ecotourism Zone.

In the video, the monkey king moves with incredible agility along the steep mountainside, as if performing martial arts, displaying extraordinary skill.

According to the man, the monkey king had been standing guard while the rest of the troop was eating, with their dining location shifting throughout the valley. Around midday, when the monkey king let out a series of "hoo hoo hoo" calls, it caught the man’s attention — and he managed to film the incredible moment of it descending the cliff. He was left in awe.
