Los Angeles, United States - April 28, 2025 04/28/2025 03:08 am GMT-0700 HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a rollover crash involving city property. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find a jeep on its side. The vehicle had knocked down a traffic signal, an electrical box, and what appeared to be a bus stop. Paramedics evaluated the driver on site but did not transport him for further medical care. Nearby, a local business, The MGK Greek, had two windows broken out due to the crash. While it remains unclear if the driver was under the influence, he claimed he swerved to avoid a collision after being cut off by another vehicle, resulting in the rollover. However, it is unknown if his claims are accurate, and speed is considered a contributing factor in the incident. All traffic signals at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Sunset Boulevard were nonoperational at the time of the incident. The LAPD's Hollywood Division is handling the ongoing investigation.
