A pest controller playfully tossed around a snake that was caught inside a luxury resort.

Footage shows the handler toying with the serpent, twirling it in the air while shouting in the garden beside the pool in Hua Hin, Thailand.

The local held it by its tail and dodged as the rat snake tried to attack him.

When the animal tried to slither towards a bush, the worker pulled it back to avoid being bitten.

He then held the creature by its neck and swayed side by side, making resident Mats Stengard, 57, from Sweden, laugh at his tricks.

Mats said: 'It was like having a private snake show at my house. Do not try doing that in your own home.'

Rat snakes are common, non-venomous snakes often found in rural and urban areas. They feed mostly on rats, birds, frogs, and other small animals.
