Huge python caught casually cooling off in swimming pool
A huge python was caught enjoying itself by cooling off in a swimming pool in Malaysia.
Locals spotted the snake playfully floating in the water, prompting them to call for help in Ipoh, Perak, on January 23.
Footage shows one of the officers dragging the serpent by its tail to remove it from the public baths.
Upon moving the animal to the pavement, it attempted to slither away.
Other rescuers can be seen holding a catcher pole and a sack to place the python inside.
Local media reported that the snake was released into the forest, away from residential areas.
No one was reportedly hurt in the encounter.
Pythons are nonvenomous constrictors that prey on rodents, birds, lizards, and mammals. They lack venomous fangs and consume their prey whole by swallowing it.
