This is the amusing moment a stray cat joined students during a university lecture.

The curious calico feline suddenly wandered into the classroom while a professor was teaching architecture students in Nueva Ecija, the Philippines.

Footage captured by Stefannie Canlas shows the moggie perched on the table at the front of the class, sniffing the whiteboard on June 21.

The furry visitor can also be seen pawing at a gap in the wall and flicking its tail as it explores the room.

Instead of shooing the animal away, the instructor calmly continued her lesson and even gave the cat a gentle pat at one point.

Stefannie said: 'Our professor just let the cat stay and play around. Sometimes, kindness speaks loudest in the quietest moments.'
